A couple more pictures from the reception to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Politics Department and to show what some of our graduates are doing.
The first picture shows Jonathan Calland, who is now a senior figure in Tilda (it dominates the rice market), Greg Emms, who is a partner in a firm of solicitors in Birmingham, and Professor Alison Yarrington, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Hull.
The second picture shows me with Darren Henley, who is now Managing Director of Classic FM. He was already doing some work for the station when he was an undergraduate, disappearing at weekends to read the news bulletins.
