More for the bookshelf

I have been rather engrossed this month working on the new edition of Parliament in British Politics;  I do mean engrossed, hence the light blogging.  I have been working on it for some time – an awful lot has happened since the first edition was published – but was keen to get it finished.  I completed it yesterday and got it off to the publishers.  All being well, it should be appearing in the New Year.

Just as I was completing the final few pages, the page proofs arrived for Eminent Parliamentarians – the volume of Speaker’s Lectures – which I am editing.  The volume is scheduled to be published in October, somewhat later than initially intended.   It should make for a handsome volume.   More details in due course….
